Australian Kelpie - Bronte C.G.C.Date of Birth : 1-Nov-03 OWNER: Narelle CasarottoShe was born on a November morning on a farm at Gapstead Victoria - and who could resist when we came upon her??

Bronte absolutely loves going to training on Sunday mornings rain or shine. Fanatical about BALLS/BALLS..and anything that is thrown or can be used as a throw toy...OH AND NATURALLY HER MUM... NARELLE.

She has a dislike of "hooded young males" !!?? obviously from her days before she arrived in Narelle's great care, and strangers are obviously a problem - although she is now becoming very good with all at the Club.

*O.V.C.C. inc. - Canine Good Citizen Certificate 2006 Class **Title gained August 20th 2006**
*O.V.C.C.Inc. - Fly Ball team
Bronte can be rather difficult to get out of bed in the mornings, and she does like long naps during the day. but if you're out and about she will go for hours chasing her ball.
She is an excellent protector, especially toward our two small children - particularly when they are in the car, she turns into a black Mohawk with flashing white teeth.

We are lucky to own such a dog, and she is always teaching me something new.

Titled in 15 months of showing, winning many BEST OF BREEDS and several Class In Group Awards on the way to the Championship.

She gained her C.G.C. [COMPANION GOOD CITIZEN] certificate in October 2000, being one of the first dogs in Victoria to do so, and of course the first Italian Greyhound in Victoria

~ "Feephi" ~

Feephi came to me from N.S.W. having already achieved his title, and going reserve Challenge and RUNNER UP B.O.B. at the Canberra Royal in 2000.

He chalked up another 120 points [mainly in Victoria] before being retired. The best win for me was Australian Bred in Group at benalla K.C. Championship Show 2001, from over 100 Toy Group Entries.

He is now part of the 'DOG SQUAD" team, visiting the Northeast health Nursing Home each week.

His favourite pastime is following me everywhere picking up things I've dropped and going for a swim in the river.

He has retired from competition now, but still adores coming to training at the Club and particularly on Dog's Christmas Party days

"Casey"

Casey was the lucky last of Holly's litter of 6.

Although they were all beautiful puppies, there was never any doubt that "LucKy Last" (Casey) was staying in this family.

We began formal traditional Obedience training but luckily Mum saw the light and changed direction completely, teaching her tricks and everything fun.
Casey has enjoyed scampering around the bush and walking tracks of Bright, swimming in the rivers with her sister Ella, and accompanying me bike riding.

In 2000 she became a Canine Good Citizen.

She barricks for Collingwood, (I'm not sure why) and loves going camping.
She is a joy to watch and delightful to be with. We hope to have the pleasure of her company for a long time.

Shadow’s litter was bred for a specific reason, to continue our breeding line into the future, as it is with all good breeding programs, and he has certainly done that, above and beyond our wildest dreams.

His entire litter, 7 pups – 2 bitches and 5 dogs - have that laid back "assertive and self assured" nature that the G.S.D. is treasured for. "Shadow" himself is that typical Alpha Male, who has no need to be anything other than confident and assured to keep his pack safe and happy - including his two legged family. He just loves it when those little babes are in the puppy pen, and is never happy until he has been in and checked them out.

Owned/Bred by Tony he is trained and handled [for most of his career] by Dianne. His show career was limited, but he gained his Championship at 17 months gaining numerous B.O.B., Exhibit in Group and In show awards.
His last show the Rock 2001 he gained Exhibit in Group & R/Up in Show. Returning to the ring after 12 months to the grounds of his last show [The Rock] he gained.. B.O.B. & R/Up and Open in Group.

Shadow’s one disappointment was that he would never have the titles his wonderful brother has –

He had been enjoying his retirement coming out to a Veteran’s sweepstakes gaining a 3rd. place.

So with Dianne, he gained his CANINE GOOD CITIZEN Title in August 2006, just to show "B.J." he too, did have a few brains as well as his beauty

His companionship to Tony and Dianne and his progeny - number 1 son gaining his GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP status, and a multiple BEST IN SHOW Winner. His numerous grand and great grand children gaining Championships, and giving love to their families, some here within this Club.
