Ovens Valley Canine Club (in conjunction with WKDOC) Championship Show
Friday 4th and Saturday 5th April
To be held at Wangaratta Kennel Club, 12 Evans St, Wangaratta
After 7 years Ovens Valley Canine Club is hosting its first Championship show! The club used to have quite the reputation for hosting a great show and they drew good attendance. It will be a combined a show with Wangaratta’s providing what we hope will be a show extravaganza!
This is a great opportunity for the club to be recognised once again amongst the wider dog community, and provides us with an opportunity for fundraising. In fact shows used to be the club’s major source of funding each year! For the show to have the best chance of being a success there are ways you can help.
SPONSORSHIP
With over 400 dogs and their handlers in attendance we need sponsorships/donations of any size to help contribute to the running costs of this event. The main costs are judge expenses for accommodation, flights and fees, prizes,prize money and ribbons.
For as little as $15 a business can have their name on a ribbon, have their logo in our catalogue and will be part of our social media presence.

VOLUNTEER
Volunteering in person on Friday or Saturday means we would have members at the ground to represent the club, however help can be offered from Thursday to Sunday. Volunteers will be supported by Wangaratta Committee members and are needed for 1 hour, 1/2 a day or 1 day or more for any of the following:

Thursday/Friday
- Provide food in accordance with predetermined menu (for judges)
- Assist with setting up and organising
- Assist Team leader in club room catering for the Judges
- Assist in canteen with Team Leader.
- BBQ area assisting the BBQ Team leader at breakfast &/or lunch times.
- Assist packing away equipment after show is finished
- Assist with cleanup in kitchen after show
