Gala Day Parade - Bright Autumn Festival
Saturday 2nd May, 12:30-3pm
OVCC is taking part in this year’s Gala Day Parade.  Please join us for some festival fun with our furry mates!  It’s a great chance to support a community event and help us get better known.
Gold!  The alpine valleys have a very long history of gold mining and countless locals and visitors have been on the hunt. But you’re not limited to that, any theme that considers the colour Gold is most welcome.There are prizes – so let have a go!  There are suggestions of gold Bow Ties, anything gold really but we’d love to hear your ideas!
Road closures will be in place from 1pm so if we can meet at Sommer Park, Bright at 12:30pm we can walk to the starting point from there. The parade starts at 1:45pm - we have requested an early position, so our dogs hopefully won’t be left waiting around too long.  Let me know if you can make it! Email [email protected]

Alpine Discovery Day
Saturday 23rd May, Pioneer Park Recreation Reserve, Bright
The Alpine Discovery Day is designed to showcase local sporting groups, activity providers, and community organisations.  It’s a chance to:

• Promote your activity or organisation
• Engage new people of all ages, but especially young people
• Foster connections between groups
• Attract potential new members

If you or a friend can spare an hour or two to help on the day we would be most grateful!  

• 8:00am – 10:00am - Set up gazebo and stall.
• 10:00am – 2:00pm - main event.  You must have a Working With Childrens Check to volunteer during the event.  The Volunteer Working with Children Check is free and super easy to obtain.
• 2:00pm - Pack down

Come and Try Flyball
Most Tuesdays from 5.00pm - Bright
Club members are invited to come along and try the fast action sport of flyball.  Great for any dog who loves running and retrieving!  Contact Kathy to register your interest 0418313306 or email [email protected].
