Mans Best Friend (Beginner Program)
New members are always welcome, the club holds new member classes regularly. These classes run for 5 weeks and give both dog and handler an excellent introduction to training. It is strongly advised that you do not miss a class as there is limited opportunities to make up for this lost class. At the end of the classes, all dogs undertake an assessment of their learning and on successful completion receive a 'mans best friend' certificate.
On completion of the course you are invited to stay on and develop these foundations with further training and activities. Please read the information for new members. |
Agility
Agility is the FAST, FUN and EXCITING sport of a handler directing a dog around a course of obstacles to beat the clock. The course will consist of various jumps, tunnels, elevated walks, weave poles, an A-Frame, and a see-saw of which must be completed in the correct manner.
